The Start of Fall

Status: Ennui and hope.

Well, it’s certainly been a while! Summer has always been a slow time of year for me and this was no different (not to mention going on vacation and getting into a new video game!) My thoughts can be a bit scattered at the best of times, so I’m not too surprised that it took me this long to make a new update. But I’ve always loved the cold, so fall promises a better season.

First of all, there’s a new feature on the site: character blogs! I’m still working out what I want them to be and how long they’ll run, but it should hopefully be a fun way to convey character, build the world, and give you all more to explore. I’ve also updated a few things around the site, most notably the art archives! They now display pieces from newly-released articles and some I’ve previously only uploaded to my tumblr, so take a glance if you want to see what I’ve been sketching. Aside from that, I’ve also added a few more articles to the Cordhan section.

As for my personal life, it’s been a strange few months. My assistant has been showing me more of the human world; I’ve used human transit, visited human museums, and saw a baseball game. It’s been eye-opening, but perhaps too much. My mind buzzes with ideas but lacks direction. Perhaps I should start a new art project. Taking a break from writing to pursue other types of art has always helped me shake off this kind of dust.
